1883-O VAM-52A I3R6 AW011218

Obverse: III2-27 Date set in the Normal position. Left 8 has die chip between loops on left side on mid-late die states. Weak die crack from the top left of 1 to the bust point and from top right to the first 8. Ear slightly doubled at right inside, right outside and bottom outside on mid-late die states. Concave die at rim from over polishing with very shallow denticles. Marker Tiny die chip in hair gap above right side of ear.
Reverse: C3l Oval O mint mark centered and tilted slightly left. Heavily polished with beveled field on right side of eagle's left leg, field behind arrowheads, and below tailfeather #1. Concave die at rim from over polishing with very shallow denticles, peripheral letters and some leaves in left wreath. Beveling to the right of and a possible clash at the second T in trust. Marker Tiny die chip on right side of eagles upper tail feathers.
  • Die crack from left star to the denticles under the O in ONE.
  • Die crack from the right side of the N of UNITED to the I to the denticles above the T.
  • Die crack from LW4 to LW1 to the underside of right wing.
  • Die crack from the denticles above the right wing tip to the top of the first T in STATES ending in the field to the right side.
  • Die crack from the top right of A into the second T of STATES ending at the top left of the E.
  • Weak die crack from RW4 to base of RW1.
Comments: Not sure if there's letter transfer at the lower hair vee from the reverse second t in trust.
