Obverse: III2-1
  • Date set at the Normal Left position. Open 9. 1 doubled at top right side of bottom bar. First 8 doubled at top outside of top loop. 9 doubled at top loop and at top of lower curve. Second 8 doubled at top outside of top loop.
  • Weak die crack from right side of bustpoint to flag of 1, bottom of bust point to the bottom left side of 1, between the 1-8, right side of lower loop of first 8 into the denticles below the 9.
  • Die crack from the right side of the designer initial M across the lower curls of Liberty's hair into the field and terminating above RS5.
  • Machine doubling at the back of Liberty's hat below the hat band.
  • Thick polish lines below the cotton bolls with a distinct diagonal polish line at the front of the hatband behind the hair.
  • Weak die crack with a break/chip from the left side of bust point into the denticles.
  • Very weak die crack at LS1-LS3 and from denticles above LS5 to LS6-LS7.
  • Weak die crack from second M of UNUM into RS5-RS6.
Reverse: C3a.
  • Minor doubling on leaf(s) at LW3,LW4 and RW4-RW5.
  • Die crack on the right wreath from RW4-RW2.
  • Die chip/gouge at the underside of the olive branch below the eagle's right foot, right talon.
  • Thick diagonal polish line along with fine lines at the eagle's wing-neck gap.
  • Die crack from the left side field of the left star thru UNITED and right wing tip ending in the denticles above the first S of STATES. TAngent crack from the T of UNITED into the denticles between the T-E. Tiny breaks along these cracks.
  • Die crack thru top of STATES OF, across right wing tip, AMERIC. Tangent crack from M in AMERICA to the denticles. Numerous breaks along this crack.
  • Die crack in the right wing across from the t of trust.
