OBVERSE ATTRIBUTES: Date is set in the Normal position. Very slight doubling is seen on Liberty's Nose, Lips, and Chin with counter clashing at Lips. An Obverse clash line is seen exiting Liberty's Neck Line with a partially incused n of the first word of the Reverse Motto, In God We Trust seen exiting about halfway down the Neck Line. A partially incused s in the last word of the Reverse Motto is found to the right of the Hair Vee.

REVERSE ATTRIBUTES: Some letters of the Reverse Legend,
UNITED STATES OF AMERICA are doubled rimward, as are some Cluster leaves of the Left Laurel Wreath. The Mint Mark is set in a normal upright position.

COMMENTS ON THIS COIN:
- This coin has all of the attributes associated with the VAM-35A and has been certified as a VAM-35A by ANACS.
- A clash mark or scratch is seen exiting Liberty's Jaw Line.
- A collar clash-like feature is seen on the rim across Liberty's profile. Please see the Section entitled Photographs of Special Interest for an explanation.
- An Obverse Clash Line is seen exiting Liberty's Neck Line and traveling into the Field.
- A Reverse Clash Line is seen exiting the top edge of the Eagle's Right Wing and travels to the left leg of the n in the first word of the Reverse Motto In.

Comment: A partially incused In is seen at the Liberty's Neck Line (Arrowed). Touching the Neck Line is the lower portion of the I and in the field to the left of the I is the left side of the n. This feature was created by the clashing of the first word in the Reverse Motto, In God We Trust. Additionally, a prominent Obverse Clash Line can be seen exiting Liberty's Neck Line. This line was created by the clashing of the Eagle's Right Wing. |

Comment: The next four Images shows what appears to be a collar clash. However, it's my understanding that the feature on the rim is most likely the result of the way the reeded edge makes contact with the slab gasket |
